Work / Sanctuary And Beyond

Case Study
Having been one of the first original web series to move to TV, producers of the Emmy-nominated show Sanctuary sought to update the show experience online. Partnering with Xenophile Media, Uproot executed and developed an interactive experience that brought viewers into the world of Sanctuary.
Integrating the special effects used in the show and original footage shot for the game, fans were thrown right into the Sanctuary -- a place where both safe and harmful creatures are kept. Taking on weekly missions, launched
shortly after the shows airing each week, viewers solved puzzles and challenges to help the Sanctuary team.
In addition, an independent mobile campaign was integrated into the Flash experience, helping users stay connected to their favorite show no matter where they were.
The show and online missions were well received by viewers in Canada the US and UK who returned weekly to see what new mission awaited them.
“Uproot maintained the highest levels of professionalism and quality throughout two concurrent, challenging productions for a major broadcaster/client.”
